What Are We Looking For?
As a Marketing Analytics Manager you will play a pivotal role in analyzing and interpreting marketing data to drive actionable insights that inform strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical analytical skills, a deep understanding of all marketing areas, and a passion for leveraging data to optimize marketing initiatives. We’re looking for someone who can dig into any marketing channel and help us determine what’s working, what’s not and what we should do next.
What Will You Do?
- Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns across all marketing channels by providing insights and recommendations for optimization
- Help us understand leading and lagging indicators and what drives leads further down our funnel
- Strong technical ability to support the creation of our data ecosystem that is the foundation of our reporting data ecosystem
- Identify trends and patterns in customer behavior and campaign performance to provide actionable insights that help drive marketing strategy
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards to provide real-time insights to marketing stakeholders, enabling better data-driven decision-making
- Analyze customer data to create effective segmentation strategies that enhance targeting for campaigns and promotions
- Maintain current Tableau reporting, as well as work to evolve and create new reporting with new data streams and tool evolution
- Create reports and dashboards in Salesforce for real time reporting
- Build strong relationships across the organization and work cross functionally to support the organization’s needs
- Self-directed, innovative thinker with strong attention to detail who needs limited guidance to frame business problems, develop and iterate on appropriate analysis in the face of ambiguity
What Skills and Knowledge Should You Bring?
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics (Marketing and B2B a plus)
- Heavy experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, Salesforce, etc)
- Proficient in SQL (GBQ a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Desire to mentor and teach others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner to all levels
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must have a true aptitude and passion for understanding and translating complex data in a way that is simple and easily comprehensible, especially for non-technical audiences
