JOB DESCRIPTION:
A position responsible for supporting all commercial activities involving Matador assets and associated midstream entities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends in the oil and gas markets.
- Schedule and coordinate the movement of crude, natural gas, and NGLs to meet contractual obligations.
- Provide accurate and timely publishing of prices for postings and various other pricing mechanisms.
- Identify and seek business opportunities, new customer deals, overseeing all aspects of the deal-making process including analysis, due diligence, negotiating, monthly settlements, and closing.
- Create pricing models and reports in a clear, concise, and meaningful manner.
- Communicate with Field Personnel and Purchasers to facilitate the efficient movement of products.
- Assist with audit requests and SOX compliance.
- Team player willing to do what is needed to meet groups daily requirements.
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as needed.

QualificationsEducation and Experience:
- Degree in marketing, data analytics, accounting, business, math, or a related field.
- Proficient Excel VBA and gas plant accounting is a plus.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain good relationships with colleagues, internal departments, outside operators, field personnel, and outside parties.
- Excellent oral and written communication, organization, and analytical skills.
- Team player mentality.
- Willingness to learn new applications and develop competence in any software that is required for the position.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated personality with a sense of urgency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to ask questions and be a motivated problem solver.
- Training will be provided to develop competence in software.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
Skills Required
