Description

The Marketing Analyst serves as a key member of the NewSpring Capital marketing function, working cross-functionally with Business Development, Capital Formation, and investment teams. This role owns the full execution of marketing operations and BD support activities, combining strong project management, editorial, and analytical capabilities to drive firm-wide marketing initiatives.

Requirements

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Content & Collateral Management

• Manage the full collateral funnel including version control, compliance routing, and distribution of finalized materials.

• Produce high-quality marketing materials, including writing and designing collateral, conference materials, press releases, and website content.

• Support the creation of new sales and marketing materials such as proposals, brochures, handouts, and pitch books for institutional investment products and services.

• Review, refine, and apply strong editorial judgment to AI-assisted content; social copy, reporting narratives, and campaign materials.

• Assist in the preparation of in-depth, custom proposals and client presentations.

Project Management & Operations

• Own and manage Asana workflows end-to-end, overseeing start-to-finish project execution across initiatives (e.g., campaign materials, Braithwaite deliverables) without requiring Manager or Director follow-up.

• Assist with managing a complex marketing system to help build brand value, client relationships, and facilitate growth.

• Maintain and run established reporting dashboards and reports on a disciplined cadence; distribute to stakeholders consistently.

• Develop and design executive-level reports, dashboards, and board-level presentations.

• Manage stakeholder engagement to ensure that NewSpring sourcing and origination strategies are current and properly leveraged.

Business Development & Capital Formation Support

• Serve as the primary point of entry for marketing requests from the BD and fundraising teams, ensuring timely and organized response.

• Work within the Business Development department as an integral part of outbound client communication, relationship building, proposal development, and case study writing for B2B sales.

• Execute thorough market research to identify potential targets that meet NewSpring's investment criteria.

• Source and originate platform investment and add-on opportunities via digital strategies to founders, CEOs, and other senior stakeholders.

• Participate in sourcing and origination discussions with founders, CEOs, and other senior stakeholders.

• Participate in sales calls to document prospective client's key business needs and write business cases.

• Engage with senior industry executives as part of the research-driven Access investment approach.

• Understand key competitors and industry trends and assist in effectively positioning the company's approach and services.

Digital Marketing & Social Media

• Draft, schedule, and publish social media content with strong editorial judgment and brand consistency.

• Assist with the execution of outbound marketing campaigns (phone, print, online, and email) and coordinate with internal sales teams to monitor campaign performance.

• Develop a robust digital marketing skillset and become deeply knowledgeable in proven digital sourcing and origination strategies across multiple facets.

• Design and execute digital marketing content and strategies in partnership with Portfolio Executives and NewSpring investment professionals.

• Develop a command of NewSpring's digital tool capabilities to drive broader adoption and identify enhancement opportunities.

CRM & Systems Management

• Support the maintenance of the firm's CRM database (Salesforce preferred) — input and update investor contact information, meeting notes, and investment preferences.

• Maintain proficiency in project management tools (Asana or equivalent) and leverage AI-assisted workflows to increase efficiency.

• Work directly with the NewSpring team and their respective portfolio executive teams to ensure systems are current and operational.

Events & Industry Engagement

• Provide back-end event coordination support including logistics, registration, and attendee communication.

• Serve as liaison between strategies and Marketing in preparation and execution of the Annual Meeting.

• Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and related events to assist in the promotion of NewSpring's brand and services, as required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of marketing experience, ideally in financial services, professional services, or a similarly structured environment.

• CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred); familiarity with project management tools (Asana or equivalent).

• Strong editorial judgment: the ability to review and refine AI-generated content, not just produce it.

• Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple workstreams without heavy oversight.

• Comfortable in a coordination-heavy role; does not require constant creative direction to stay engaged.

• Design tool familiarity helpful but not required (Adobe Creative Suite).

• Genuine interest in the private equity / investment management space.
