Brown & Brown is seeking a Marketing Analyst to join our growing team in St. Petersburg, FL!
The Marketing Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the client's marketing process from intake to implementation. This position serves as the main point of contact for incoming marketing requests and is responsible for coordinating proposal development, supporting client-specific strategies, and managing documentation workflows in alignment with internal standards and timelines.
How You Will Contribute:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming marketing requests.
Evaluate scope and gather required documentation to initiate the process.
Ensure requests are accurately routed and tracked within the internal workflow system.
Compile and analyze carrier responses to create client-ready proposal summaries, comparing plan designs, rates, funding strategies, and other key decision factors.
Partner with Account Executives to develop customized cost comparisons, disruption reports, and funding analyses to support strategic recommendations.
Generate benchmarking reports using internal tools and industry data aligned with client size, industry, and location.
Set up and manage Plan Year folders and initiate BAM workflows.
Maintain accurate records in the BAM system, including documentation of marketing statuses, carrier responses, and proposal outcomes.
Submit internal reports such as Top Gun updates and confirm delivery of “Actively at Work” notices to clients.
Request necessary documentation such as deductible and carryover reports
Licenses & Certifications:

Valid driver’s license
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
Required
Minimum of high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
1-2 years of experience in account management, client services, or related fields.
Proficient with MS Office Suite and Excel
Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Travel
Preferred
Associate’s or Bachelor’s in a business or financial related discipline
Professional designation
Minimum typing speed of 40 to 50 words per minute
Agency Management System knowledge

This position requires routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hiring and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements for this position.
