Why be a Performance Marketing Analyst at THG?
At THG, We are now recruiting an exciting new position for a Data Analyst to join our Nutrition Data Team to take a lead on Performance Marketing analytics.You will be responsible for driving actionable business insights through performance marketing data whilst managing data driven projects across our marketing teams.
As a Performance Marketing Analyst you’ll:
- Promote a data-driven culture across all levels of the organization, from recent hires to senior directors, to drive business strategy through effective use of data.
- Use SQL and BigQuery to query internal databases for projects ranging from ad-hoc analysis to building automated reporting pipelines.
- Collaborate with the internal marketing team to proactively identify opportunities for optimizing and efficiently utilizing the marketing budget.
- Oversee the performance marketing budget by reporting on spend usage and effectiveness, while using data to challenge and refine the spend mix at both micro and macro levels.
- Serve as the Nutrition Data lead, contributing to alternative measurement initiatives such as Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA).
- Support the automatic tracking of marketing performance, enabling an iterative test-and-learn approach across marketing channels.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by delivering clear, concise insights and maintaining effective communication.
What skills and experience do I need for this role?

- Passion for Data: A genuine enthusiasm for data, with the drive to champion its use across the organization.
- Adaptable and Analytical: Highly flexible and analytical, able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Performance Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with performance marketing channels and their operational dynamics.
- Required Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, Excel, and basic Python.
- Desired Technical Skills: Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau (preferred).
- Soft Skills: Expertise in visualizing data to effectively "tell the story" behind the numbers.
