Reporting to the Executive Director, you will play a crucial role in supporting market growth and expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Foster unity and collaboration between the Harvest Market and UMMA’s broader mission
- Manage scheduling to support market hours, transitioning to a full-time schedule.
- Promote a positive, inclusive work culture focused on teamwork and professionalism
- Uphold policies and maintain clear communication and accountability
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety standards
- Maintain a safe, clean environment that meets health code standards
- Align food selections with community needs, promoting fresh, nutritious options.
- Collaborate on partnerships to expand market offerings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Public Health, Community Development, or a related discipline
- Additional certifications or training in food safety and handling may be beneficial
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in program management, preferably in a community service or food market setting
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Experience with scheduling and managing both part-time and full-time staff
- Knowledge of food handling and safety standards
- Ability to foster a positive and inclusive work culture
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- Commitment to developing and maintaining positive community relationships
