As a Market Pricing Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping pricing strategies across our equipment, automation, parts, and service portfolios to strengthen competitiveness, improve profitability, and support long-term business success.

This highly collaborative role partners with Sales, Operations, Finance, Product Management, and Executive Leadership to develop data-driven pricing strategies and commercial insights. You'll help influence critical business decisions, improve pricing consistency across the organization, and uncover opportunities that support customer value and revenue growth.

How You'll Make an ImpactDrive Strategic Pricing Decisions
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies that support revenue growth, profitability, and market competitiveness across multiple product and service offerings.
  • Evaluate pricing opportunities and provide recommendations that balance customer value, business objectives, and market conditions.
  • Support pricing governance and consistency by helping establish best practices, processes, and commercial guidelines.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure pricing strategies align with broader company goals and market priorities.
Deliver Market & Business Insights
  • Analyze market trends, customer buying behaviors, competitive activity, and business performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Leverage data, financial analysis, and reporting tools to uncover actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor pricing effectiveness, margin performance, and sales trends to evaluate business impact.
  • Translate complex data into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Partner with Sales & Commercial Teams
  • Work closely with Sales leadership to provide pricing guidance, deal support, and commercial recommendations.
  • Support strategic customer opportunities by evaluating pricing scenarios and business outcomes.
  • Help drive consistency in discounting practices and pricing execution across the organization.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between pricing strategy and customer expectations.
Collaborate Across the Organization
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, Product Management, and Supply Chain teams to align pricing decisions with business performance and operational goals.
  • Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities by considering demand, inventory, and supply factors in pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and global partners on product positioning, commercial strategy, and pricing initiatives.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders through data-driven recommendations and business insights.
Advance Analytics & Continuous Improvement
  • Develop financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools that improve visibility into pricing and profitability performance.
  • Drive adoption of Business Intelligence and AI-enabled analytics tools to enhance forecasting and decision-making capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes, reporting accuracy, and analytical efficiency.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement through innovation, data-driven decision making, and operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications & SkillsEducation
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • MBA or advanced business degree preferred.
Experience
  • Four (4) to six (6) years of experience in pricing strategy, commercial strategy, business analytics, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience developing pricing models, financial analysis, and data-driven business recommendations.
  • Experience within manufacturing, industrial equipment, automation, capital equipment, or related industries preferred.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional commercial initiatives and influencing business decision-making.
  • Experience leveraging Business Intelligence platforms and advanced analytics tools to support business objectives.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with a clear understanding of pricing's impact on revenue, profitability, and business performance.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, ERP systems, CRM platforms, and other business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.

Qualifications

Experience/Training/Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 4-6 years of experience in pricing strategy, commercial strategy, or business/financial analytics within manufacturing or capital equipment industries
  • Experience working with or supporting S&OP processes preferred
  • Experience in leveraging BI Platforms and exposure to AI driven analytics in commercial and operations setting.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills
  • Advanced pricing strategy expertise (value-based , competitive, and cost-plus models)
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to connect pricing decisions to P&L outcomes
