- Execute internal sales objectives & improve account conditions using BBC systems and selling processes
- Learn and be proficient in beer industry knowledge, brewing, and BBC product styles
- Hunt for new business opportunities while growing current business
- Utilize effective verbal and written communication with wholesaler, accounts, and coworkers, including the ability to deliver impactful presentations
- Use internal and external data to plan and identify opportunities across the launch market
- Build strong relationships with wholesalers and retailers by providing leadership and training across defined geography
- Regularly benchmarking progress against the Goals, Strategies, Objectives and Tactics for the launch back to cross-functional partners and leadership
- Manage budget for launch relative to sales initiatives
- Conduct monthly/quarterly Planning & Review meetings to benchmark current progress to goal and sell BBC objectives
- 80% Travel, mostly within the local market
Minimum Qualifications
- 4yr/Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of experience in sales and/or the food and beverage industry
- Wholesaler management experience
- Ability to build, grow, and maintain sales relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Can work and partner effectively across multiple business units and teams
- Ability and desire to travel to other markets as-needed for meetings and trainings

At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $80,000 and $123,000. However, it’s important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location*. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
