The Red Hat Marketing Development team is looking for a Marketing Development Representative to join us in APAC countries coverage. In this role, you will be responsible for uncovering new business opportunities within an assigned territory, through outbound calling and emailing, and follow up on marketing-generated leads, as well as prospecting into new accounts. You'll identify and pass opportunities with new and existing customers to the Sales team after thoroughly qualifying them against the required criteria. As a Marketing Development Representative, you will also work with internal and external partners to increase business and create solutions that serve the best interests of both our customers and Red Hat. You'll be responsible for understanding all of the solutions within our portfolio and expected to articulate the value proposition frequently to potential new customers.
What you will do

Engage in lead qualification through calls, emails, and social media

Answer sales queries through phone and email; process leads according to Red Hat's service-level agreements (SLAs)

Work with solutions sales specialists in assigned territories to increase focused pipeline generation through outbound calling programs on targeted accounts

Prioritize and manage all marketing generated leads that enter the funnel within your assigned territory

Identify new sales opportunities through outbound calling and emailing and contribute to the sales pipeline

Contribute to team targets, achieving a high level of customer satisfaction and lead qualification

Demonstrate a professional, customer-centric approach during all customer interactions

Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing calls and emailing while effectively managing follow-up tasks
What you will bring

Bachelor's degree

Excellent organizational and time management skills

3-4 years of cold calling, business development, or marketing experience

Experience with software applications, web-based software services, marketplace services, or IT-related services

Highly motivated and engaged approach to generating new business

Ability to follow processes and daily tasks consistently while maintaining high attention to detail

Experience speaking to senior executives

Ability to clearly and effectively present information, demonstrate procedures, and respond to questions

Experience using Salesforce.com
