Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Market Data Compliance Analyst. The successful candidate will work closely with the Market Data Compliance Manager to ensure overall compliance with Exchange regulations. This role involves performing daily compliance-related tasks, including communication with Exchanges, clients, and partners, conducting end-user status verification, managing usage reporting, and supporting internal teams through research and documentation.
We expect the Market Data Compliance Analyst to:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Exchange market data regulations and licensing requirements,
- Maintain a market data inventory (licenses, customers),
- Perform end-user status verification (professional vs. non-professional) to ensure accurate classification,
- Prepare monthly usage reports and verify data for accuracy and compliance,
- Serve as a point of contact for communication with Exchanges, clients, and internal partners on compliance matters,
- Assist with various internal and external compliance-related inquiries,
- Research, document, and analyze compliance topics, regulatory changes, and market data policies,
- Collaborate with internal teams, including IT and Development, to define and communicate requirements for compliance tools such as reporting systems and user management platforms,
- Support the development and improvement of internal compliance processes and tools,
- Assist with audit preparation and ensure compliance documentation is accurate and current.
Must-have skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field preferred,
- Advanced level of English (clear, accurate written and verbal communication skills),
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, partners, and teams.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities,
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and comfort working with databases or compliance platforms,
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Prior experience in market data compliance, financial services compliance, or related roles is a strong advantage.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams to define business requirements is a plus,
- Experience with Confluence and Jira is a plus.
