Champion Petfoods EMEA is expanding! We are excited to announce we are looking for a Market Activation Specialist Germany to join our team in Amsterdam.

The Regional Customer Marketing Specialist will lead the marketing conversations and support negotiations with key retailers to grow the Acana and Orijen brands through e-commerce and in store and ensure excellence of execution, while tracking and managing KPI's. Revenue growth management will be key to accomplish the role.
What will be your Key Responsibilities?
Work alongside the Key Account Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Sales Directors, Digital and Category team to develop and execute joint business plans with key retailers across E -Commerce and brick and mortar stores.
Support Key Account Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Sales Directors in Customer Performance Analysis & Revenue Growth Management
Liaise with the global and international teams in other regions to share best practices of marketing ideas and implementation across direct retail accounts, ensuring best practices are replicated wherever possible.
Revenue Growth Management, setting KPIs, monitor campaigns and activations, measure ROA and ROI.
Point of contact for all needs related to marketing for retail direct accounts e.g. assets creation, liaising with global team on brand guidelines, briefing and managing agencies when necessary, point of contact for marketing teams and commercial teams within retail partners.
Create shopper marketing insights for the region and add value through analytical and empirical insights gathered through the collaboration with direct retail accounts.
What are we looking for?
3-5 years+ plus experience in Trade/Customer Marketing, Category Management, Sales and/or Shopper Marketing with close collaboration with Sales
Essential the candidate speaks fluent German, in addition to English.
Essential experience in CPG or FMCG.
Industry knowledge of depletions, sales and retail data. In-depth understanding of online and retail marketing.
This role is perfect for an ambitious, enthusiastic customer marketing manager with experience working with large international online and offline retailers.
The ideal candidate would have strong shopper marketing experience and be able to harness insights from data. Experience with Nielsen data, Kantar analytics, Aztec or similar scan data providers is strongly valued; experience analyzing funnel and conversion rate for ecommerce sales as well as analytics data to understand return on investment of marketing campaigns on site is a must.
The role will be perfect for a go-getter with a positive can-do attitude, flexible, able to deliver through complexity and change and a good team-player. Ability to work independently and self-starter attitude is required to succeed in this role.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritize, understanding what is likely to really deliver an impact.
