BU – Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV)
Aortic stenosis impacts millions of people globally, yet it often remains under-diagnosed and under-treated. Edwards’ groundbreaking work in transcatheter aortic heart valve replacement (TAVR) pioneered an innovative, life-changing solution for patients by offering heart valve replacement without the need for open heart surgery. Our Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) business unit continues to partner with cardiologists and clinical teams to transform patient care with devices supported by clinical evidence. How you'll make an impact:
• Develop and plan market access projects and activities with accountability for successful completion of all project deliverables
• Provide direction and guidance to external project teams to execute tactical market access projects and/or initiatives
• Identify and evaluate market access process improvement and/or course correction/course alignment opportunities
• Assess access and reimbursement issues that matter to the business in partnership with stakeholders (e.g., Business Units Managers) to identify fast access pathways and optimal reimbursement.
• Develop local market access opportunities in collaboration with the sales team
• Lead the implementation reimbursement strategy for current and pipeline products

What you'll need:

Bachelor's Degree in in related field , 10 years years experience of previous related experience Required or

Master's Degree or equivalent in in related field , 8 years years experience of previous related experience Required and
-
Health-Economics, Business, Political sciences or Communications Preferred

Experience in Market Access, Public Affairs within local country Preferred

Experience in Public Affairs or Public Relations and external engagement in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry Preferred

Experience with implant market

Medical education and health economic training background is preferred. A bio-medical engineering background is also suitable Preferred

• Expert understanding of local healthcare system and political environment
• Detail oriented
• Capacity to deliver impactful communications through a balanced analytical and creative approach to complex technical matters
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Ability to represent leadership on projects within a specific area interfacing with project managers and cross functional teams
• Ability to consult in project implementation within the Market Access team
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
