Market Access Lead, Vietnam

ROLE SUMMARY
The role will report directly to the Cluster Lead of Vietnam/Thailand, and will design, develop and implement strategies and initiatives that increase access and affordability to Pfizer's innovative medicines. S/he will promote and reinforce an excellent level of understanding of the access and pricing conditions of each key Pfizer asset and competitor products to maximize revenue and access
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop market access priorities/strategies and ensure its successful execution.
• Ensure development of revenue-optimizing market access strategies for new and existing products, which consider the interests of all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive for new partnership initiatives/projects that focus on broadening patient profile and increasing access to Pfizer's products.
• Maintains network of external stakeholders that can be activated to respond to or support specific access risks or opportunities.
• Engages with and influences the decision makers in order to improve the reimbursement, access and funding environment for Pfizer products.
• Identifies, participates and drives relevant external forums to advance Pfizer's position on topics that shape the local regulatory and market access environment.
• Collaborates and aligns with regional/global functions as appropriate.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Science or Medical-related course; Bachelor's degree with major in law, political science, public relations, international affairs, government studies, or trade policy being an advantage.
• At least seven to ten years of work experience in areas of government, lobbying or trade associations with strong working knowledge of legislative process
• Relevant experience in Market Access preferred and not essential given market development in this area
• Has a holistic understanding of health systems and health policy, with a deep and specific knowledge of pricing, reimbursement, funding and procurement processes. Has the ability to navigate and shape these mechanisms to create a positive environment, receptive to our value offerings.
• Knowledge of the country government and political situation, trade institutions is essential
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and develop constructive relationships externally and regionally across product categories
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with fluency in Vietnamese and English
• High sense of ethics and integrity.
