SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Document the actual hull and propeller performance for vessels, by analysing, consolidating and reporting on data to develop tools and analysis methodology as well as contributing to the achievement of objectives of the HPS concept
Responsibilities:

Analyse vessel performance data for a designated group of vessels to document the actual hull and propeller performance and support the development of the HPS concept.

Contribute to developing services and tools by being proactive and understanding the challenges in different trading areas to advise customers in optimizing their vessel efficiency.

Support Technical Sales Support through analysis of vessel trade and all other available data to offer competent advice for decision-making.

Assist the Sales Representatives in customer meetings to strengthen the customer relationship and promote the Hull Management Solutions and premium products portfolio.

Assist the HPS Salespersons in customer meetings to strengthen the customer relationship and promote Hull Performance Solutions.

Stay updated on all issues related to performance monitoring and analysis, general technical development of the marine industry, market trends, and the status of the relevant customers to ensure that the objectives of the HPS concept are met.

Contribute to the development of analysis methodology and tools and the reporting setup to further improve the Hull Performance Solutions concept.

Perform analysis and reporting using all available data sources (sales, data, performance, oceanographic, AIS, etc.)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
Qualification- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Applied Mathematics/Data Science or equivalent.
Preferring to have Programming skills in Python, Matlab and Big Data technologies or any experience with computational fluid dynamics(CFD) will be considered a plus
