As a Margin & Collateral Analyst within Collateral Management Operations, you ensure collateral margin calls are exchanged within agreed timelines. You deliver timely receipt and delivery of collateral transactions while monitoring movements and valuations. You identify, address, and escalate issues promptly, partnering with clients and internal teams to meet regulatory requirements and internal policies.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure collateral margin calls are exchanged within agreed timelines
  • Ensure timely delivery and receipt of collateral transactions
  • Monitor collateral movements and valuations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly
  • Identify, address, and escalate issues promptly based on risk understanding
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, addressing collateral inquiries and concerns
  • Coordinate with trading, risk management, and legal teams to support regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy


Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

 

  • Strong technical skills with detailed understanding of the trade life cycle
  • Detailed understanding of derivatives products and collateral management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of risk with ability to identify, address, and escalate issues promptly
  • Strong attention to detail when monitoring valuations and collateral movements


Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

 

  • Ability to provide training and support to team members to promote continuity in day-to-day practices
  • Ability to stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in collateral management
