SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Training Leader is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering training programs that ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their roles safely and efficiently. This role works closely with production leadership, HR, and safety teams to identify training needs, maintain compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This Manufacturing Training is for Blow Molding and will require prior Blow Mold experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function.
· Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing employees in manufacturing operations.
· Conduct hands-on training sessions on equipment operation, safety procedures, quality standards, and production processes.
· Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations, and feedback.
· Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
· Collaborate with supervisors and managers to identify skill gaps and create targeted development plans.
· Support onboarding processes and ensure smooth integration of new employees into the production environment.
· Update training materials and SOPs as processes and technologies evolve.
· Lead cross-training initiatives to build workforce flexibility and resilience.
· Monitor and report on training metrics and KPIs.
· Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all employees.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
· Bilingual skills may be preferred depending on workforce demographics.
· Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
· Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., CPTM, ATD).
· Familiarity with OSHA and other regulatory training requirements.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS
An individual qualified for this job must have and maintain the following qualifications:
· Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a training or supervisory role.
· Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality systems.
· Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
· Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., CPTM, ATD). (Preferred)
· Familiarity with OSHA and other regulatory training requirements.
