Intel Foundry Automation's (IFA) Automation Operations Team is looking for highly driven and disciplined individual to join our team as compressed work week shift engineer for supporting equipment performance and operations on day shift.
Candidate will primarily be responsible for Automation application technical troubleshooting and operational support for the systems and software running in Intel's Factories. The candidate will also be expected to provide next-level support for certain applications for Intel's worldwide factory network. Some project work including insertion activity hardening and CIP software development is also part of the job scope. The ideal candidate must exhibit the following behavioral traits:
Demonstrated initiative and to be self-directing and to work with minimal supervision.
Be comfortable presenting issues and driving solutions utilizing formal education and judgement.
Willing to produce results in a timely manner and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
Additionally, the candidate of choice will be willing to work a compressed work schedule: Working Shift 14FW or 14BW (12-hour shifts in a compressed 4-day workweek schedule (9:00 AM–9:00 PM or 9:00 PM–9:00 AM)
Minimum Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related fields
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills - must be able to communicate, clear message delivery in troubleshooting/swat bridge as well as written update on findings/investigation to factory users
Resourceful, creative and innovative in coming out with ideas to resolve issues
Proficient with current IT technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic understanding of SQL, scripting and related activities
Ability to multitask and support across a broad range of applications.
