Position Summary: The Manufacturing Production Coordinator will be responsible for processing Work In Progress (WIP) orders and operational support functions. Communicates with machinists, purchasing, sales, operations, management, and outside vendors as needed. Able to provide accurate details and decipher the standard use of machines and material.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following, as well as other duties that may be assigned.

  • Processes WIP orders in SYSPRO; reads prints, breaks down materials used per job, adjusts usage and time per operation issued, and goods receipts
  • Resolves inventory and discrepancy issues
  • Provides clerical and administrative support to the Production Manager and warehouse department
  • Provides feedback on progress or issues in a timely manner to Production Manager
  • Ensures project documentation and value assurance to the accuracy of job details input by operations, machinists
  • Maintains a strong focus on job processing and problem

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Proficiency in standard office and database programs/equipment
  • Knowledge of SYSPRO preferred

Education and Experience:

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role within plastics distribution preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Travel: May require periodic travel to other branches
