Production Development Specialist__
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is: On site
This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in México.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Update and maintain work instructions and visual aids to ensure alignment with current production processes.
Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to gather accurate process information and translate it into clear documentation.
Support the standardization of visual documentation across different production lines.
Assist in identifying areas where documentation improvements can enhance efficiency, safety, and quality.
Ensure that updated instructions and visual aids are communicated effectively to production operators.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
Currently studying in 7th or 8th Semester in an Materials, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering Degree or related field.
Intermediate Business Conversational English.
Strong written communication and attention to details.
Team building, creativity, proactive.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Basic knowledge of technical drawing or CAD tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD preferred).
Familiarity with ISO-9001 documentation requirements.
Familiarity with assembly processes.
Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
