MANUFACTURING ENGINEER - AEROSPACE AREA
As manufacturing Engineer, you will be involved in all manufacturing Engineering activities of Casaletto Vaprio plant: ensure alignment of production data with the customer design and develop a culture of quality, safety and EHS for the Aerospace production. You will develop operational excellence according to the site’s strategy and define manufacturing processes of the plant, by optimization and efficiency of people, materials and equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Interpretation of engineering DWG, specifications and manufacturing processes
- Design and Production Data Configuration Management
- Manufacturing method development and improvement
- Implementation of optimized production technologies, testing tools and industrial tools for new products and/or for the optimization of existing production lines.
- Manage the definition of the proper workflows, assembly and test procedures
- Estimation of production time and cost
- Redazione della documentazione tecnica rispetto ai processi di manufacturing
- Technical support to supplier quality activities
- Working with shopfloor personnel to validate processes and tools
- Technical support to supervisors and shofloor operator to solve manufacturing process challenges
- Technical support to supply chain department for purchasing raw material/sub-assy
- Green Belt (Lean Six Sigma) project coordination
- Manage in collaboration with the production the resolution of technical issues
Requirements:
- Engineering degree (mechanical or aerospace) and technical knowledge
- Strong Italian and English knowledge (written and spoken)
- Good knowledge of BPI processes (Master manufacturing, Lean Sigma, Quality and Logistic techniques and skills).
- Good communication skills
- Organizational skills and focus on details
- Preciseness and accuracy
- Fair attitude with colleagues and direct reports
- Act with a long term perspective
