If you are a Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or Continuous Improvement professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based at our Rayong Plant, as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will lead Manufacturing Engineering initiatives across Compressor Manufacturing operations. This role oversees Process Engineering, Project & Equipment Engineering, New Product Introduction (NPI), Automation, Digitalization, Continuous Improvement (CI), and Cost Reduction programs. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will partner closely with plant leadership to drive operational excellence, enhance productivity and quality, expand manufacturing capacity, and execute the plant's 3–5-year transformation roadmap to support sustainable business growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering organization including Process, Project, Equipment, NPI and CI engineers.
Drive automation, digitalization, AI and smart manufacturing initiatives.
Lead capital projects, equipment upgrades, line transformation and productivity improvement programs.
Support new product introduction (NPI), PPAP, pilot runs and manufacturing readiness.
Improve OEE, cycle time, changeover, labor productivity, FPY and scrap performance.
Deliver annual cost reduction and EX120/CORA project savings.
Develop manufacturing standards, process capability and technical competency.
Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, AME and Global Engineering teams.
Build and execute a 3–5-year manufacturing transformation roadmap.
Productivity: OEE, Cycle Time Reduction, Man-hour/Compressor Improvement
Quality: FPY, Internal PPM, Scrap Cost Reduction, Process Defect Reduction
Cost: Automation Savings, Localization Savings, Project ROI Achievement
Delivery: NPI On-Time Launch, Line Readiness, Project Milestone Completion
People: Team Development, Succession Planning, Cross-functional Collaboration
Digitalization: Automation Deployment, AI Applications, Smart Factory Initiatives
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or related field.
8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with at least 3 years in leadership role.
Strong background in automation, process improvement, capital projects and manufacturing operations.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate in both English and Thai, verbally and in writing.
