Manufacturing Engineer (Silent-Aire)

What you will do
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing manufacturing processes and
methods required for a premier HVAC manufacturing facility. Key duties include leading and/or
participating on projects that increase plant capacity, reduce cost, improve productivity, reduce job
hazards, and /or improve product quality.
How you will do it
• Process engineering change requests.
• Troubleshoot production problems.
• Assist in trouble-shooting assembly and fabrication equipment.
• Optimize work-station layout.
• Justify, specify, and install equipment.
• Introduce new products (BOM scrubbing, Manufacturing Trial Lots, Assist in Training, and work with
Design Engineering on production issues related to Design for Manufacturing).
• Create and maintain Bill of Materials and Routings (Assembly and Fabrication).
• Support and/or lead Lean projects.
What we look for
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other related manufacturing discipline
• 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering experience
• Lean manufacturing principles (material flow, material presentation, process flow, workstation
design
