We are on the search for a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and contribute to our success.
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer will drive continuous improvement efforts in production processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to make strategic decisions on new equipment, tooling, and fixturing to optimize manufacturing capabilities.
Principal Duties:
- Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Identify opportunities for waste minimization and implement lean manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to develop and introduce new equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
- Establish and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support capital project planning and execution for manufacturing equipment upgrades.
- Train production staff on new processes and equipment to ensure seamless adoption.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement techniques and lean manufacturing principles.
- Hands-on experience with equipment selection, tooling, and fixture design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or AutoCAD preferred).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ANSI, ISO, or ASME is a plus.
