What You'll Do
- Support New Product Introduction: Participate in risk and feasibility assessments, review quotes, build and troubleshoot first articles, and work with customers and suppliers to ensure products are production-ready.
- Improve Manufacturing Processes: Design fixtures, tooling, jigs, and manufacturing aids; troubleshoot production issues; and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.
- Lead Engineering Projects: Plan and execute process improvement and capital projects using Lean, PDCA, DMAIC, and other structured problem-solving methods.
- Support Production: Conduct process and job hazard assessments, coordinate preventive maintenance, support corrective actions, and train production employees on equipment, processes, safety, and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field, with 4–5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience with IPC/WHMA-A-620, PPAP, ISO 9001, statistics, gauge systems, and GD&T.
- Electronics, wire/cable assembly, or related manufacturing experience
- Proven ability to troubleshoot problems, lead improvement projects, develop tooling/fixtures, and work effectively with production teams, customers, suppliers, and cross-functional partners.
- Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and project management skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as Infor.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Robotics, automation, or programming experience.
- Capital equipment or engineering project management experience.

Skills Required

- 4–5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
