Responsibilities & Duties
- Design, implement and streamline manufacturing processes, equipment, and procedures
- Assist with continuous improvement 6-Sigma activities
- Assist in plant layout changes to improve flow and minimize waste
- Apply knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the mechanical engineering/design field
- Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job, as needed
- Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
- U.S. citizenship required; visa sponsorship is not available.
Work Requirements/Condition
- Work performed in a manufacturing and production environment.
- Extended periods of standing may be required; seating is available at all workstations.
- Must be able to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds independently.
- Frequent use of hands for operating equipment, computers, and hand tools.
- May require bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
- Required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses in designated areas.
- Must wear company-issued smock or ESD-protective garments where required.
- Compliance with all company safety policies and procedures is mandatory.
