Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer I supports production by improving processes, increasing efficiency, and ensuring product quality. This role helps develop and implement manufacturing solutions across various products.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and implementing manufacturing processes, tools, and fixtures

  • Help identify and resolve production issues, defects, and assembly challenges

  • Conduct time studies and process analysis to improve efficiency and reduce costs

  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams

  • Use Power BI to analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights

  • Track and report key metrics such as throughput, efficiency, downtime, and quality

  • Support continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methods

  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

  • Assist in selecting and qualifying new equipment and technologies

  • Perform root cause analysis and support corrective actions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, or a related engineering field, with 2–4 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Basic knowledge of assembly, testing, and material handling processes.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
  • Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to a variety of audiences.
  • Proven ability to identify issues, analyze data, and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Windows-based systems and enterprise software tools.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand basic technical instructions, correspondence, and visual aids.
  • Solid mathematical skills, including working with fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages, and basic data interpretation (e.g., graphs).
  • Ability to follow instructions, use sound judgment, and manage routine tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
