We are looking for a Manual QA Analyst with Playwright automation tool to design, execute, and manage comprehensive testing strategies that ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of software solutions. This position will be full-time and remote.
What You'll Do
Execute Quality Assurance activities to ensure system standards and user requirements are met
Write, manage, and execute test plans
Design, write, and execute test cases and test scenarios
Leverage, JIRA, SQL, and other testing tools in the execution Quality Assurance activities
Gain understanding of operating environment, business processes and application functionality
Experience with Mobile testing on different platforms and operating systems
Experienced with use of test tools used in the DevOps environment
Author the Test Suite - test scenarios and test cases traceable to requirements in order to validate the application deliverables
Validate data and reports using SQL and other tools (where needed)
Prioritize and plan quality control activities across a large project, and report on product quality regularly
Responsible for risk assessment for each release and contribute to bug reporting and triage
Identify, document and track issues found during testing
Coordinate with developers and project team members to triage and resolve issues
Determine, communicate, and execute the appropriate testing strategy for each deliverable
Evaluates the performance of automation systems or processes, finds improvement opportunities
Responsible for repeatable test automation or manual at all three levels of the Agile Test Pyramid
Addresses client's requirements and resolves complex problems related to industrial automation systems architecture or process implementation
What You'll Need
Required:
5- 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Strong experience with a code-based test automation suite such as Playwright, Selenium, Katalon is required
Strong experience with modern languages such as JavaScript, C#, PHP, Python etc.
Strong experience with build automation technologies like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc. Experience with AWS, Docker, Swagger
Proven ability to write automated test scripts to verify data structures, data formats, and data values
Experience with Jenkins or similar build/deployment automation tools
Preferred:
Working knowledge of Quality testing and business process analysis, concepts, practices, and procedures in the Agile / DevOps environment
Ability to demonstrate a certain degree of creativity combined with analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers and business partners
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
May assist and guide junior staff as necessary

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
