We are seeking a Managing Principal to help scale our Cybersecurity practice at a pivotal stage of growth. This role blends senior leadership responsibilities—driving business development, leading delivery, and developing teams—with a mandate to shape and lead our Cyber + AI offering. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to build market propositions, develop pipelines, deliver impactful programs, and grow a high-performing team.
What You’ll Do
- Define and scale a Cyber AI strategy aligned with market demand and business priorities
- Develop offerings including accelerators, playbooks, and reference architectures
- Lead complex cybersecurity and AI-enabled security engagements end-to-end
- Build and grow client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
- Lead business development activities including pipeline creation, proposals, and deal closure
What We’re Looking For
- 12+ years’ experience in cybersecurity, information security, or technology risk
- Experience within a management or technology consulting environment
- Strong track record delivering complex cybersecurity programs
- Experience with AI security, GenAI governance, or AI-enabled security operations
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
Bonus Points For
- Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or FFIEC
- Experience across domains such as cloud security, IAM, or resilience
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, cloud or AI certifications)
- Proven experience leading end-to-end pursuits and closing deals
- Advanced degree in cybersecurity or related field

Skills Required
- 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or technology risk with progressive leadership responsibility
- Prior experience working for a management or technology consulting firm
- Proven ability to lead complex cybersecurity programs end-to-end
- Experience leading or contributing to AI security, GenAI governance, or AI-enabled security operations programs
- In-depth knowledge of cyber frameworks (FFFIEC, NIST, ISO, CRI)
- Experience in one or more cybersecurity domains (Resilience, Data Security, Identity & Access Management, Cloud, Threat/Vulnerability, Zero Trust)
- Ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, translating cyber and AI risk into business language
- Demonstrated experience leading projects independently, managing client expectations, and delivering high-quality outcomes
- Proven track record in leading pursuits end-to-end (discovery, solutioning, proposal writing, pricing, negotiation, closing)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a cyber or information security related field
- Relevant certifications (CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CCSK, CISA, CEH, cloud or AI-related certifications)
- Willingness to work in the New York office three days per week
