Description

The Managing Director is responsible for leading all aspects of the local market, including sales, real estate, and operations.  This role is focused on growing revenue, building strong customer and landlord relationships, developing new billboard locations, and ensuring the market operates efficiently and profitably.

As the leader of the market, the Managing Director sets goals, supports employees, drives business and growth, and ensures company standards are met.  This person works closely with teams across the company, including Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, Operations, and Corporate Leadership, to achieve market objectives.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the overall performance, growth, and profitability of the market.
  • Oversee sales, real estate, and operations teams to ensure company goals are achieved.
  • Develop business growth opportunities, secure new billboard locations, and manage key customer and landlord relationships.
  • Manage market budgets, expenses, and financial results.
  • Oversee lease negotiations, property acquisitions, renewals, and site development projects.
  • Ensure company assets are maintained and meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop employees to support business objectives and company initiatives.
  • Represent the company within the local community and industry.
  • Travel as needed throughout the market and to other company locations.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)

7+ years of leadership experience, preferably in OOH, media, real estate, or related industries.

Proven success managing P&L or driving EBITDA growth.

Experience in business development, sales leadership, or revenue generation.

Experience in real estate, leasing or property development.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial performance and drive profitable growth.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of sales management, business development, and customer relationship strategies.
  • Knowledge of real estate acquisition, lease negotiations, and asset management principles preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on strategic objectives.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to effectively work across departments and organizational levels.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to accountability and continuous improvement.

Skills Required
