About the Role

Our Strategy & Transformation team partners with government and private sector clients to shape strategic direction, improve performance, and lead transformation initiatives that create lasting impact.

We're seeking an experienced Manager to join our Brisbane team. In this role, you'll lead complex client engagements, build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and deliver practical, evidence-based solutions that drive strategic and operational outcomes. You'll also play a key role in developing our people, growing the practice, and contributing to the success of our clients.

You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of engagements, including:

  • Strategy planning and development
  • Business case development
  • Portfolio prioritisation and planning
  • Operating model design, implementation and review
  • Enterprise-wide transformation programs and projects
  • Business performance improvement initiatives

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of complex Strategy & Transformation engagements, ensuring quality outcomes and exceptional client service.
  • Provide strategic direction on complex and ambiguous business challenges, guiding teams to develop practical and actionable solutions.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a valued advisor.
  • Facilitate executive workshops and lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Oversee the development of strategies, business cases, operating models, recommendations, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including leading proposals, tenders, and client presentations.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Contribute to the growth of the practice through thought leadership, market insights, and continuous improvement of our methodologies and offerings.

You're an experienced consulting professional who enjoys solving complex problems and helping organisations navigate change. You combine strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and strong leadership capability with a genuine passion for delivering client value. You thrive in dynamic environments, build credibility quickly with stakeholders, and enjoy leading teams to achieve exceptional outcomes.

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Significant consulting or professional services experience across strategy, transformation, operating model design, performance improvement, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex consulting engagements from scoping and planning through to delivery and implementation.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience identifying opportunities and developing proposals.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and advise senior leaders.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' relevant post-graduate experience.
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Commerce, Engineering, Science, Law, or similar.

Skills Required

  • Experience in consulting or professional services, particularly in strategy, transformation, operating model design, process improvement, or related areas

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Science, Health, Law, or a related discipline
