Intuit Credit Karma depends upon our users' trust.  We earn and maintain that trust by demonstrating our commitment to safeguarding their information.  The Trust & Safety team has the critical responsibility of protecting Credit Karma's members by securing our online processes, and preventing online fraud and abuse throughout the Credit Karma product suite. 

What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with the product security and engineering teams at Credit Karma and Intuit to design and build systems that power Credit Karma’s fraud prevention, detection and remediation
  • Partner with the data science teams at Credit Karma and Intuit to leverage and utilize data science models to suit the fraud detection and prevention needs of the Credit Karma business, while balancing revenue, risk and customer experience
  • Work with product and data engineering teams to integrate data from internal services and external service providers into Credit Karma’s fraud detection system; automate data processes and set up data quality monitoring to improve data accuracy and usability
  • Use your fraud and abuse domain expertise to respond to fraudulent and abusive activity on the platform in collaboration with the security, product, and operations teams
  • Collaborate on developing, managing and optimizing strategies and policies that aim to prevent, detect and mitigate identity fraud and abuse on Credit Karma
  • Build strong relations with engineering, product, data science, policy, and operations teams at Credit Karma, its vendors and partners to achieve these goals

Minimum Basic Requirement:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in identity and account fraud, credit risk and/or financial fraud risk
  • Deep understanding of fraud detection/prevention technologies, fraud prevention system design,  and relevant data needs
  • Authoritative knowledge SQL and Python
  • Strong business problem solving, communication and collaboration skills.
