Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- This position requires a high level expertise of SQL, including building unique queries and the ability to understand and interpret complex data quickly and accurately. The position will be expected to be creative with data analysis and interpretation, managing and adapting data to meet the unique needs of immediate requests.
- Responsible for leading and directing analytical activities for assigned segment of rebate management; including ability to analyze large data sets to identify trends, opportunities and troubleshoot issues which may arise.
- Manage the training, workflow, and deliverables for assigned segment area analysts, including on the job training for analytical techniques, industry knowledge and best practices. Serve as both a team lead and individual contributor, in varying capacities throughout required tasks.

- Lead quality improvement initiatives and/or strategic initiatives for Trade Analytics department to ensure high performance, high quality, efficient and consistent methods are in place, understood, and adhered to by segment area.
- Develop and review statistical analysis and forecasting models according to business and management’s needs including recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.
- Continuous improvement mindset, always looking for new ways to best meet internal and external requirements with a focus on improving departmental KPIS and metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal of supervision.
- Represents the Trade Analytics group to senior management and cross functional teams by effectively communicating business decisions and rationale.
- Represents the Trade Analytics group to clients through participation in client calls regarding rebates earned and addressing any questions or issues as they arise.
- Keep up to date with industry and regulatory changes.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages assigned staff in the segment area. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the segment. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Supports and enforces all company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner, taking corrective action whenever necessary.
Client Responsibilities
This is an internal and external client facing position that requires excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills (listening/verbal/written). One must be able to respond promptly to client needs; Solicit client feedback to improve service; Respond to requests for service and assistance from clients; Meet commitments to clients; Manage difficult or emotional client situations.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) and 5-7 years’ related experience. Master’s degree preferred. Experience required in PBM, healthcare, and/or finance related industry.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel, and Access. Advanced SQL experience required.
Other Skills and Abilities
Possess proven leadership skills, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), analytical and financial reasoning skills. Requires experience in operational application of database applications, accounting, finance, or data analysis. Demonstrated attention to detail and leading quality or process improvement initiatives. Requires the ability to represent MedImpact at the enterprise level with proper business decisions.
Travel - This position requires occasional domestic travel of up to 10 - 15% of the time.
