As a member of the Finance team, the Finance Business Partner supports TechOps by providing financial insights, analysis, and decision support to enable effective operational and strategic decision-making.

The role partners with TechOps leadership to drive financial planning, performance management, and value delivery, ensuring accurate and timely financial information to support business objectives.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Provide forward looking financial insights and recommendations to TechOps leadership, supporting and influencing decision-making on performance, risks, and priorities.

  • Lead financial analysis to address complex financial and operational challenges, translating cross-functional insights into actionable business recommendations .Support business cases, project evaluation, and cost/value optimization, navigating ambiguous scenarios with multiple drivers and incomplete data to drive performance and resource allocation. Deliver high-quality financial materials and partner with stakeholders to drive performance steering and accountability.

  • Drive planning cycles (budget, forecast, outlook), ensuring alignment with operational priorities and financial targets.

  • Perform financial modeling, variance analysis and challenge assumptions to improve forecast accuracy and identify risks and opportunities.

  • Support medium- and long-term strategic planning.

Performance & KPI Analysis

  • Monitor key financial and operational KPIs, providing clear performance insights to support decision-making.

  • Develop concise, insight-driven dashboards and reporting focused on business relevance and usability.

  • Ensure data integrity and consistent financial reporting, supporting continuous improvement and standardization.

  • Partner effectively with TechOps, FP&A, and Finance teams to drive alignment, communication, and execution of key initiatives.

  • Lead financial workflows or projects with TechOps;

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other Business related discipline

  • CPA/CA or MBA a plus

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in various finance roles including, business partnering, financial planning, reporting, accounting operations or related fields,  including experience in the biopharmaceutical or manufacturing sector

  • Experience with using dashboarding and visualization software (e.g. PowerBi) is preferable

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or project-based functions, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
