As a member of the Finance team, the Finance Business Partner supports TechOps by providing financial insights, analysis, and decision support to enable effective operational and strategic decision-making.
The role partners with TechOps leadership to drive financial planning, performance management, and value delivery, ensuring accurate and timely financial information to support business objectives.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Provide forward looking financial insights and recommendations to TechOps leadership, supporting and influencing decision-making on performance, risks, and priorities.
Lead financial analysis to address complex financial and operational challenges, translating cross-functional insights into actionable business recommendations .Support business cases, project evaluation, and cost/value optimization, navigating ambiguous scenarios with multiple drivers and incomplete data to drive performance and resource allocation. Deliver high-quality financial materials and partner with stakeholders to drive performance steering and accountability.
Drive planning cycles (budget, forecast, outlook), ensuring alignment with operational priorities and financial targets.
Perform financial modeling, variance analysis and challenge assumptions to improve forecast accuracy and identify risks and opportunities.
Support medium- and long-term strategic planning.
Performance & KPI Analysis
Monitor key financial and operational KPIs, providing clear performance insights to support decision-making.
Develop concise, insight-driven dashboards and reporting focused on business relevance and usability.
Ensure data integrity and consistent financial reporting, supporting continuous improvement and standardization.
Partner effectively with TechOps, FP&A, and Finance teams to drive alignment, communication, and execution of key initiatives.
Lead financial workflows or projects with TechOps;
Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Profile
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other Business related discipline
CPA/CA or MBA a plus
Experience
5+ years of experience in various finance roles including, business partnering, financial planning, reporting, accounting operations or related fields, including experience in the biopharmaceutical or manufacturing sector
Experience with using dashboarding and visualization software (e.g. PowerBi) is preferable
Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or project-based functions, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
