Manager, Tax
Job Description
Support the US headquarter tax team with global tax reporting under ASC 740 using Corptax. Perform quarterly reconciliation of current income tax expense, payable, and deferred tax assets/liabilities for US and international subsidiaries using Corptax. Support US Tax compliance, Federal and States, using Corptax. Manage international income tax provision and compliance process with tax consultants – review data provided to and from consultants, coordinate with outside tax service providers and liaising with various departments internally to analyze local GAAP/tax adjustments. Review international income tax returns and tax provision to tax return variances. Review and make quarterly estimated income tax payments for all international subsidiaries. Provide support for income tax audits including responding to information requests and interfacing with tax auditors. Assist with Transfer Pricing study in multiple jurisdictions. Assist in maintaining income tax related Sarbanes Oxley 404 documentation. Assist in identifying tax opportunities and mitigating tax risks. Assist in identifying and implementing tax function process improvements. Conduct research and analysis on tax matters as necessary and prepare tax memorandums. Other special projects as they arise
Requirements:
1. 10 years of professional experience in a corporate tax department and/or a Big 4 accounting firm.
2. Experience with Corptax or OneSource Tax provision (OTP).
3. Experience with a multi-national software product or SaaS industry preferred.
4. Degree in accounting or tax with professional certification.
5. Demonstrate technical strength and knowledge related to US and international income tax areas and intercompany transactions.
6. Must be well-organized, hands-on, and detail-oriented with good communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
7. Must have strong working knowledge of Excel, NetSuite/Oracle systems, Microsoft office suite including Power BI. Experience with Excel power query preferred. Must be strong in using systems and software with a passion for automation.
