Job Description

Role Purpose

The Manager, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for leading and managing the recruitment strategy for the company. This role will focus on developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience, and collaborating with department heads to fulfil staffing needs in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the full recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Lead and mentor the talent acquisition team, providing guidance and support to ensure recruitment goals are met.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Work closely with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create position descriptions where required.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
  • Promote the company’s brand as an employer of choice through various channels and recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Utilize recruitment metrics and analytics to monitor and improve the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure employment contracts and recruitment processes comply with legal and company policies and procedures.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, behavioural science, law or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in the IT and BPM sectors.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills with the ability to adapt communication style for various audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and techniques.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset.
  • Agile problem-solving skills.
