JOB SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Manager will manage the company’s professional or plant recruitment process and team. This includes designing and modifying recruiting procedures and strategies, recording recruiting metrics, supervising the recruiting team and monitoring the recruiting team’s performance. The TA Manager will also oversee recruitment programs/relationships including; campus, relocation, immigration, affirmative action and Third Party Agency.  In addition, the TA Manager will be the subject matter expect on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tool. This person will strategically partner with HR Business Partners/ Leadership as well as the Business Group Leaders to ensure needs are met.  Develops and documents professional recruiting policies and/or programs to attract, retain, and promote a diverse workforce; provide recommendations to address organizational needs and geographical challenges by utilizing the applicant tracking system, as well as the associated compliance requirements.    

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience 
  • At least 5 years of progressive work experience in full-cycle recruitment
  • 3 years leadership experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years of experience in a metrics-oriented environment, with the ability to track individual recruitment goals and supporting strategic initiatives;
  • 5 years of experience in sourcing active and passive candidates
  • 5 years of experience working with and improving recruiting processes
  • 5 years of experience working with applicant tracking systems

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Professional Recruitment Ownership

  • Partner with the HR Leadership to ensure the Business Group and Core needs are met  
  • Develop and document recruiting and sourcing policies and/or programs to attract, retain, and promote a diverse workforce; provide recommendations to address organizational needs and geographical challenges.
  • Create, and maintain process documentation / reference materials on the professional Recruitment processes. Train and mentor Hiring Managers, HR Representatives and HR teams on these processes. Review these processes to ensure continued accuracy and compliance with changing laws and business needs
  • Audit the applicant tracking system and monitor the staff to ensure the processes are followed consistently and the standards for hiring are sustained /maintained.
  • Own Applicant Tracking System documentation, processes and training for professional recruitment processes.
  • Meet the defined expectations for the Affirmative Action Plan and the associated data requirements.
  • Establish Diversity recruitment strategies and implement with recruitment team.
  • Establish Recruitment team goals and metrics
  • Coach, mentor and train Professional Recruiters and ensure key performance indicators are met
  • Manage and maintain the ongoing development and proper use of the CRM tool to ensure a proactive approach to Recruitment.
  • Research and implement cutting edge recruitment trends to adapt to the fast changing market environments
  • Influence and coach company leaders on best Recruitment practices and trends

Professional Recruitment Sourcing Strategy and Tools

  • Create strategic sourcing methods, tools and documented processes for business groups.  Develop and maintain a documented strategy, processes, appropriate use timeline, and toolkit for candidate sourcing and ongoing candidate campaigns.
  • Train and consult with Professional recruiters on appropriate sourcing strategies, strategic sourcing tools/templates/timelines, and on candidate campaigns for future openings as driven by business and recruiting needs. 
  • Support additional sourcing for roles regionally as needed.
  • Manage employee procurement budget for professional recruitment

Team Supervision and Coaching

  • Select, coach, and develop staff. Set clear expectations to inspire and motivate the team. Manage performance, recognizing achievements and provide feedback.  Administering progressive discipline when necessary.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to the Recruiters in the areas of social media sourcing strategies utilizing established protocol.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and coach to the Recruiters in the areas of recruiting processes / standards, utilizing the applicant tracking system, as well as the associated compliance requirements. 
  • Responsible for day-to-day professional recruiting operation decisions such as requisition load assignments, metrics and efficiency

  • Ability to make sound business decisions with proficiency in attaining the right talent for the business;

This position acts under the direction of the Director of Talent Acquisition or Talent Acquisition Senior Manager
