Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Manager, Systems Engineering to Design and deliver technical solutions in support of systems engineering and infrastructure initiatives. Duties include: analyze information to develop and install updated systems and infrastructure; determine systems performance standards and evaluate factors relating to backup infrastructure, hardware, and security; configure backup and recovery methodologies and application of these methodologies including retention, reclamation, and disaster recovery; manage, configure, develop, and maintain documentation for multiple environments; report and make recommendations on performance and capacities; test, diagnose, and remediate issues in dynamic environments; develop and execute disaster recovery exercises; and maintain current microcode and software component levels. Multiple positions.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: Cloud technologies: AWS or GCP; Azure Cloud IAAS & PAAS.PowerFlex; VMAX series storage VNX series Clariion; Unix, Linux, or Shell scripting; Implementation and designing data migration tools; SMC, SYMCLI, EMC Control Center, or Viper Controller; and Hadoop, R or Python.
Pay Range: $132870.00/year to $196000.00/year.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
