Title and Summary
Manager Systems Analyst
Prepaid Management Services is the division of MasterCard that concentrates on Prepaid Solutions such as our Multi-Currency CashPassport product. Traditionally focused on the Travel sector, this business unit is driving forward Prepaid throughout the world with innovative and leading solutions that we integrate with Global brands. This role is within the Mastercard Prepaid Technology Team which is part of the wider MasterCard Product & Engineering group. We provide high quality evolutionary and operational capabilities to support the MasterCard Prepaid Management Services business.
In support of the development of new initiatives, clients and market rollouts, the Manager Systems Analyst role will entail -• Business process re-engineering• Impacting system changes • Using various analysis methodologies in line with industry best practice• Managing a team of local Systems Analysts, their professional development and people leader activities
ROLE
The Manager Systems Analyst will be responsible for leading the production of: • Functional and technical specifications • Use case documents • User stories• Report specifications • Gap analyses • Change impacts • Business process modelling.
Ensuring quality is maintained whilst supporting local team members in mentorship and line management skills.
ABOUT YOU• Story writing knowledge and experience• Able to organise, hold and contribute in business and technical workshops • Able to understand the business issues and challenges of the organisation and industry • Able to document and understand business process models • Able to use MS- Office products including Visio to produce documentation of a high quality • Able to document solutions in FunctionalTechnicalInterface Specifications, User Stories, Use Cases and UC Models • Able to identify client organisation's strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas of improvement • Write documents in plain business English • Ability to understand and document technical specifications, including web services requirements. • Experience in an Agile and Scrum environment, with enthusiasm to drive the Agile methodology forward.• Demonstration of previous line management and mentoring skills
