We are looking for a Manager of Supply Chain and Logistic for our site based in Lourdes.

In this role, you are the interface between the Customer Service, the department’s global Supply function, the global Purchasing function as well as Industrial Operations to ensure the performance of the Supply Chain. The scope of his function is to oversee Sales administration, Planning, Procurement and Industrial logistics.

  • Responsible for downstream flows (stock, shipments) and upstream flows (stock components and raw materials).

  • Responsible for tracking and inventorying.

  • Manage procurement staff to ensure production supply conforming with quality, quantities, and lead-time requirements.

  • Manage the staff in charge of the monitoring and management of customer purchase orders to ensure the satisfaction of these orders in terms of responsiveness and accuracy of response.

  • Implement and follow the MPS with the Production department.

  • Responsible for the databases related to Supply activities.

  • Develop and track customer forecasts and production planning by way of S&OP reviews.

  • Implement, update and/or propose relevant indicators aimed at meeting the budget and the targets of his department, as well as aiming to optimize Supply Chain performance.

  • Actively promote within his team the implementation of continuous improvement tools aimed at improving the Supply Chain process.

  • Define a progress plan and take the necessary actions to fulfil his department’s objectives within the site.

  • Respect operating costs within the defined budget.

  • Guarantee the safety of the staff in his department.

  • Refer to his hierarchy with any problems that could have a major impact on results or on customers.

  • Provide proposals to improve the site Supply Chain process.

What will convince us

  • Bac +5 oriented Logistics and/or Supply Chain or similar experience.

  • Fluent French and English required; another language is a plus.

  • 5 years minimum experience in end-to-end supply chain management within a production unit (pharmaceutical, automotive, etc.).

  • Strong customer orientation.

  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.

  • Good knowledge and mastery of the operating principles of an ERP.

  • Good practice of the basic tools of continuous improvement (5S, Trouble-shooting)
