Manager/Sr. Manager - Group Investments and Financing

The team

The Group Financial Planning & Analysis team is part of CIP Finance and provides key financial analyses and decision support to the CFO, CIP management, and CIP's owners, helping shape balance sheet investment decisions and CIP's strategic direction.

Our team consists of three professionals within GFP&A, specializing in financial and portfolio modelling to support group-level financial decision-making at CIP. We work as a closely integrated team, delivering high-quality analyses and recommendations in collaboration with key stakeholders, including the CFO, CIP management, and CIP's owners. Our work supports major business decisions and plays an important role in shaping CIP's long-term growth and strategic direction.

The role

The ideal candidate combines advanced financial modelling capabilities with solid analytical and problem-solving skills. You will build, develop, and operate complex financial models, assess opportunities and risks across a range of scenarios, and provide actionable insights to support business-critical decisions. Equally important is the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear, concise, and impactful manner through presentations and decision materials tailored to different audiences.

Responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to:

• Develop and maintain complex financial models covering CIP Holding's investments, CIP-managed funds, external investments, and financing structures.
• Support the CFO and senior management with analysis and decision-making material.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses of investments and financial structures to assess risks, opportunities, and portfolio impacts under different scenarios.
• Lead the scoping of work, prioritization of initiatives, and coordination of stakeholders to deliver high-impact outcomes.
• Take ownership of core FP&A processes, translating business needs into structured priorities and actionable plans.
• Prepare high-quality financial analyses, presentations, and recommendations for management, communicating complex financial and quantitative topics clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate across CIP and manage multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously.

You

We are looking for candidates with a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. The ideal candidate brings 5-7 years of relevant experience from a reputable FP&A, corporate finance, private equity, infrastructure investing, investment banking, or management consulting environment. A demonstrated experience in building, developing, and operating complex financial models and supporting business-critical decisions through thorough analysis is essential.

Experience supporting senior management and strategic decision-making in a high-performance environment is considered beneficial.

• Ability to simplify and translate complex topics into clear, concise, and impactful presentations tailored to different audiences, including senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable working across multiple workstreams simultaneously, prioritizing effectively, and delivering high-quality results in a busy environment with competing deadlines.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
