Role Responsibilities
As a Software Engineering Manager within the Risk and Compliance Operations Investigation Platform, you’ll
lead development of our next-generation Case Management platform. You'll lead a team building critical technology used by investigators and analysts to identify suspicious activity, meet regulatory obligations, and protect customers worldwide.

- Grow, lead, and develop a high-performing team of software engineers at different levels of experience.
- Drive engineering excellence, AI adoption, code quality, architecture reviews, and best practices.

- Lead end-to-end delivery through agile delivery model
- Collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
- Design scalable and resilient microservices-based solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive modernization initiatives and cloud adoption.
- Define application architecture and technology roadmaps.
- Promote emerging technologies like AI, ML, and digital assets as capabilities
- Improve CI/CD, observability, automation, DevSecOps, and SRE practices.
- Improve platform scalability, performance, resilience, and operational maturity.
- Manage technical debt and system modernization activities.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technology solutions.
- Provide delivery transparency, risk management, and milestone tracking.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, IT, or a related field preferred.
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading and managing high-performing engineering teams (8–15+ engineers) across multiple Agile workstreams.
- Strong expertise in Java (17/21), Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, Distributed Systems, Event-Driven Architecture, DDD, Event Sourcing, and CQRS.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, PostgreSQL), Kafka, messaging platforms, cloud-native applications, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and application security practices.
- Experience building scalable web applications using ReactJS/Angular, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, micro frontends, API integrations, and modern UI architectures.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted software development, including GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Amazon Q, code/test generation, developer productivity, intelligent workflow automation, and MLOps.
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, threat modeling, Zero Trust Architecture, audit controls, and enterprise-grade software delivery.
- Preferred experience in payments, money movement, case management platforms, AML/KYC workflows, investigations, and workflow/rules engines.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and develop engineering talent.
