Senior Representative, Specialist Sales, Test & Learn, Services Business Development

Overview
The Data & Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on innovation and scaling globally, this agile team delivers end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. Centered on data-driven technologies, these services include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business Test & Learn experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services. Client verticals include Financial Institutions, Retail & Commerce, Digital Partners, Governments, and more.
Role
Senior Representative role supporting Test & Learn platform sales in North East Asia (NEA), leveraged by 300+ clients globally. The focus is on executing sales activities and supporting revenue growth among new and existing clients in the financial institutions segment.
Assist in developing and implementing the sales strategy for prospect accounts within the NEA region to support multimillion-dollar, multi-year deals.
Proactively identify and nurture leads, turning a cold pipeline into active opportunities.
Collaborate with channel partners (SIs, VARs, OEMs, Referral partners) to expand reach and drive incremental revenue.
Support bundling Test & Learn with other Data & Services products (e.g., SessionM, Managed Services, Spending Pulse, Dynamic Yields, Security Solutions).
Work closely with the Market Development team and Mastercard Core to advocate for funding incentives for CBA penetration.
Deliver compelling presentations and communicate the value of Mastercard’s D&S products to senior client stakeholders, including mid-level executives.
Partner with the Services Sales (SBL) population to align on client strategies and opportunities.
All About You
Native Japanese speaker with fluency in English, enabling seamless communication in a bilingual environment.
Strong understanding of Mastercard’s Services solutions and their value propositions, with experience executing sales strategies within specific markets.
Experience in sales support and account management within the Mastercard ecosystem or similar industries.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships through empathy, problem-solving, and subject matter expertise.
Background in selling software or data-driven solutions, with experience supporting long sales cycles (~12 months).
5+ years of experience in sales or business development within Financial Services, Digital, Retail, or related sectors.
Skilled in lead generation and pipeline management, with strong follow-through.
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills for cross-functional team alignment.
Solid sales acumen and basic negotiation skills for deal closure.
