The RoleThe Solution Consulting team at AspenTech delivers high-quality solutions and business outcomes based on our products. As Solution Consulting Manager for Planning & Scheduling and Supply Chain in EU, you will partner with regional sales leadership to develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for growing AspenTech's business in the region.

Your Impact

You will lead a team of experienced Solution Consultants that during the sales cycle lead the consultative discovery process with customers; craft a vision and roadmap of a solution that addresses customer requirements; identify differentiated value capture potential; and design an implementation and sustainment program for that solution.
Demonstrating deep knowledge of the solutions and offerings, capable of contributing to the design of a complete solution across the entire lifecycle of a project - from pre-sales through design and delivery of the solution - the Solution Consulting team drives
transformational results and realizes business strategy for AspenTech customers.
This is a customer-facing role that requires self-motivated individuals with excellent
business, industry and technical knowledge, along with strong consultative and
communication skills to position AspenTech solutions and services with our customers.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with a proven track record in software /
technology sales / consulting. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable at the
intersection of technology and business. On the business side, the ability to connect
technology with measurable business value is critical to this role.

What You'll Need
  • Background in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, with experience in Industrial software or services.
  • Consulting or technical sales experience in O&G or Chemicals.
  • Team leading experience.
  • Strong understanding of the manufacturing industry, including plant operations, business trends, sustainability, work processes, and manufacturing economics.
  • Technology specialization in Planning & Scheduling or Supply Chain areas.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and drive to address customer issues.
  • Balance of business and technology acumen, with the ability to articulate
    technical solutions to business problems.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to derive insights from customer
    interviews and data.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40%.
