As one of our engineering team Managers, you will be growing and fostering very capable teams that handle complex implementations and supports requests for one of our major products. We’ll be counting on you to get our product enhanced and maintained in a timely manner while maintaining high quality standards. What you’ll do:
-
Lead a team of full stack software engineers, collaborating with global team members and stakeholders over the design and development of cool new product features and enhancements
-
Remove roadblocks and/or bottlenecks for the teams and resolve questions in real time
-
Establish and grow relationships in our organization with other stakeholders who support and advance our product
-
Work with the Director on quality and process standards

Review expectations and standards across the teams
-
Help team members grow through mentoring, coaching, 1:1s, career planning, performance appraisals, etc.
What you’ll need:
-
6+ years of software development experience plus 3 or more years’ experience managing/mentoring software developers
-
Prior experience working as a full stack developer; web-based or multi-tier systems is desired
-
The ability to interact with both technical and non-technical members of an organization
-
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and come up to speed quickly on new technologies, and a self-motivated attitude
-
Must have experience in the following technologies: Microsoft .NET (C# and ASP.NET MVC), Microsoft SQL Server, Angular, Web APIs and AWS

Hands-on experience with GitHub best practices for team development involving feature branches, pull requests, release tags, etc. and Agile software development practices, unit testing, continuous integration, etc.

Ability to drive results through your job competencies of software program management, systems thinking, and technical knowledge

Ability to drive results through NAVEX core competencies of accountability, customer focus, drives results, instills trust
