Your Impact
- Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a high-performing team of software engineers, fostering a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Drive Results: Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable streaming solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards
- Innovate: Champion the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices in streaming application development and video technologies while inspiring a product mindset to deliver capabilities with our customer at the forefront of all your decisions
- Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional teams—including Product, UX, and Operations—to align technical solutions with business goals and customer needs
- Model Leadership: Demonstrate QVC’s Leadership Competencies by realizing your personal best, building the team, leading with agility, delivering results with speed, and creating our future
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role
- Proven expertise in streaming application development (e.g. Roku, Samsung TVs, LG, Comcast, etc), video technologies (e.g., HLS, DASH, CDN integration, Video players and event understanding) and cloud platforms (Azure)
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Demonstrated ability to foster an inclusive, high-performing team environment
- Passion for innovation, customer-centricity, and continuous learning
