We are looking for a seasoned IT Development Manager to lead and grow our development team. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with global business stakeholders and ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and innovative applications. 

What You'll Do…
  • Lead, Mentor, and Manage a Team: of 20+ developers across full-stack technologies including Angular, Node.js, and Python, while promoting a culture of engineering excellence through code reviews, secure coding practices, defect reduction, and continuous improvement.
  • Own Security and Compliance: Take full responsibility for the organization’s development security posture, ensuring alignment with best practices and audit requirements. Represent the development team in security vulnerability remediation meetings, providing regular updates and a clear strategic roadmap for resolution.
  • Establish DevOps/DevSecOps Pipelines: Enable automated, secure deployments and implement tools for vulnerability detection and mitigation.
  • Drive Technical Strategy and Innovation: Facilitate technical discussions and planning sessions to align development efforts with business goals. Prepare and maintain the product technical roadmap, including version and technology upgrades.
  • Analyze Metrics and Optimize Performance: Use development data such as quality, velocity, and defect trends to identify areas for improvement and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Align Technical Solutions with Business Needs: Understand and map business processes and flows to ensure technical solutions meet stakeholder expectations. Act as the primary liaison for all development-related communication.
  • Represent Development in Cross-Functional Forums: Participate in stakeholder, business, and infrastructure meetings with confidence and clarity.
  • Promote AI/ML Innovation: Identify and implement use cases that apply advanced analytics and intelligent automation to business solutions.
  • Maintain Technical Knowledge Base: Maintain comprehensive documentation and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing platforms to support onboarding and continuity.

What You’ll Need…
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 
  • 10+ years of overall IT experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development and technical team leadership.
Technical Skills: (Hands-on experience in one or more of the following technologies is preferred):
  • Frontend: Angular
  • Backend: Node.js, Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
  • DevOps & Security: CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions or Jenkins; vulnerability scanners (e.g., SonarQube, Snyk); OWASP secure coding practices
  • Database: MySQL and exposure to NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra)
  • Cloud: AWS services including EKS, ECS, S3, CloudWatch
  • AI/ML: Exposure to machine learning models, libraries, and basic implementation pipelines
Leadership & Soft Skills:
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional development teams
  • Strong understanding of business processes and analytical thinking
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
  • Skilled in facilitating technical discussions and influencing decisions across all organizational levels
Certifications (preferred):
  • AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
  • Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent
  • Security certifications such as CEH or CompTIA Security+ (a plus)
