Job Description

The Social Media and Influencer Marketing Manager will lead Aspen Collection's digital presence across all social media platforms, creating compelling content that showcases our premium ski, lifestyle, and activewear products alongside our unique mountain experiences. This role requires a creative storyteller who can build authentic relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors while driving engagement and brand awareness in the active lifestyle and fashion community. The ideal candidate will blend strategic marketing expertise with a passion for fashion, outdoor adventures, and storytelling to elevate Aspen Collection's position as a premier brand for apparel and experiences, connected to the larger Aspen One business and portfolio. The Social Media and Influencer Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Social Media.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $70,000 - 85,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across Instagram and TikTok to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Create, curate, and manage high-quality visual and video content that reflects Aspen Collection's premium brand aesthetic and mountain lifestyle values.
  • Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with macro and micro-influencers and creators, athletes, and brand ambassadors aligned with our ski and activewear market.
  • In partnership with the larger influencer marketing team, plan and execute influencer campaigns, negotiating contracts, creative content briefing, managing deliverables, and measuring campaign performance and ROI.
  • Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to create integrated campaigns that highlight new collections and seasonal launches.
  • Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for brand positioning and content innovation.
  • Support social media advertising budgets and optimize paid campaigns across platforms to maximize reach and conversion rates.
  • Engage with online community members, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive brand relationships through authentic interactions.
  • In partnership with the Aspen One Creative Team, coordinate with photography and videography teams to produce on-location content at ski resorts, outdoor venues, and lifestyle settings.
  • Analyze performance metrics, prepare monthly reports, and provide data-driven recommendations for strategy optimization and budget allocation.
  • Plan and execute social media activations, as appropriate.
  • Maintain brand voice consistency across all platforms while adapting content tone and style to suit different audience segments and platform requirements.
  • Leverage affiliate marketing platforms and partnerships to drive incremental revenue, optimize performance through tracking and reporting, and collaborate with influencers and creators to amplify affiliate sales opportunities.

Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably within outdoor, lifestyle, or luxury retail brands

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in social media management tools and creative software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Dash Social).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated success in influencer marketing campaigns with measurable results, including experience with influencer management platforms, affiliate marketing platforms, and contract negotiations
  • Strong portfolio showcasing content creation skills, campaign management, and proven ability to grow social media audiences and engagement rates in competitive markets
  • Deep understanding of outdoor lifestyle culture, ski industry trends, and activewear market dynamics with ability to authentically connect with target demographics
  • Exceptional written and visual communication skills with proven ability to create compelling storytelling content that drives engagement and conversions
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities to handle multiple campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholder relationships simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to work cross-collaboratively with teams
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in social media analytics, and performance optimization to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and ROI
  • Intermediate skiing/riding ability

Work Environment & Physical Demands
•    Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
•    No adverse or hazardous conditions
•    Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance
