This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions that support Salesforce applications, integrations, and enterprise business processes. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, has deep expertise in Salesforce testing, and has demonstrated innovative use of Artificial Intelligence to improve test development, execution, maintenance, and quality insights.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for Salesforce applications, APIs, integrations, and end-to-end business processes.
- Enhance and support the enterprise automation framework to ensure scalability, maintainability, reliability, and ease of adoption.
- Build reusable automation components, libraries, utilities, and test data strategies.
- Develop automated tests across multiple layers, including UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Implement robust automation design patterns such as Page Object Model, data-driven, keyword-driven, and hybrid frameworks.
- Continuously evaluate and improve automation coverage, effectiveness, and execution efficiency.
- Validate Salesforce customizations and configurations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integrated enterprise applications.
- Create and maintain automation solutions for Salesforce Lightning components, workflows, integrations, and APIs.
- Collaborate with developers to improve application testability and ensure quality is designed into solutions from the start.
- Participate in requirements reviews and sprint planning to identify automation opportunities early in the development lifecycle.
- Leverage AI tools and technologies to accelerate automation development, improve code quality, and reduce maintenance costs.
- Utilize generative AI solutions to:
- Generate automation scripts and reusable framework components.
- Create test cases and test data.
- Analyze APIs and request/response validations.
- Identify automation gaps and optimize test coverage.
- Accelerate root cause analysis and defect triage.
- Evaluate emerging AI-powered testing capabilities and recommend innovative approaches that improve quality engineering outcomes.
- Partner with teams to establish AI-assisted testing best practices and governance standards.
- Participate in code reviews and automation design reviews.
- Drive continuous learning and adoption of innovative testing techniques and technologies.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of software quality assurance or quality engineering experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on automation development experience.
- Strong experience testing Salesforce applications and platforms.
- Experience developing and maintaining enterprise automation frameworks.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, Provar, Playwright, or equivalent technologies.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Experience testing REST APIs, integrations, and distributed systems.
- Experience working within Agile environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience with source control and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
- Knowledge of performance, security, accessibility, and mobile testing practices.
The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in IT-related field or equivalent years of experience.
- Demonstrated leadership of peers in a fast-paced Global IT environment.
- 3+ years of experience leading a quality engineering team.
- Strong automation experience designing, implementing, and scaling test automation frameworks and automated quality engineering practices.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with IT tools, technologies, processes and methodologies.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems quickly and strong de-bugging skills.
- Experience in full lifecycle software development including analysis, design, development, testing and implementation.
- Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design techniques.
- Ability to create project, software, design, functional architecture, or related artifacts.
- Familiarity with process modeling techniques and knowledge of process definition and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of Cloud, Server, Networking and modern operating system provisioning.
- Knowledge of DevOps processes, CI/CD implementations, and software and infrastructure automation.
- Command of standard Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel or an alternate reporting tool.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer-service orientation.
- Ability to work independently, apply good judgment, and work within a team as leader and member.
- Ability to manage delivery, perform resource planning, hire/onboard/manage personnel, and build effective direct reports and teams.
