Job Description
The Project Manager exercises the authority specified in the Contract. FIDIC or NEC knowledge is a plus. PMP or PRINCE2 certifications are also a plus but not mandatory.
The Project Manager is also responsible for:
- Overall responsible for the successful execution and completion of the project in compliance with the contractual requirements,
- Coordinate and communicate with relevant Business sector Head,
- Secure the scope of works and manage any change or variation with the client and other parties,
- Define the planning and milestones, identify the critical path, and ensure a strong progress reporting based on information provided by technical teams. Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera is mandatory,
- Identify and manage all risks and opportunities, and define a mitigation action plan,
- Set up all reporting tools and Key Project Indicators,
- Define quality processes and ensure/audit the good application,
- Ensure project communication internally and externally,
- Manage project procurement,
- Secure documentation control with adequate softwares,
- Define and control the configuration management methods, processes and tools if any (PLM for instance).
- Keep updated the workload plan, prepare and review the forecast and implement cost control process,
- Ensure that all project interfaces are coordinated and managed efficiently between technical teams and/or with any third party.
Accordingly to the size of projects, the Project Manager will be assisted by planners, cost engineers, quality engineers, etc.
The Project Manager report to the Tender & Project Director.
Time to time, the Project Manager will have to travel to other places in India for business trips.
Qualifications
BE./ B.Tech having 12-18 years experience

The Project Manager is responsible for managing one or multiple projects including scope management, planning, quality, costs, risks, progress of the works (including subcontractors).He should also manage the project team and ensure delivery of the completed design packages or progression of construction works. He is responsible for managing the project activities related to procurement support, construction, commissioning and hand over.
The Project Manager is the main point of contact of the client on technical and general management matters, and all formal communication shall be directed through him. The Project Manager delegates authority for design delivery to the Technical Manager and to the Construction Manager for PMC activities. In addition, the Project Manager supports the Project Director on contractual matters.
