Role overview
The Manager, SAP Platform & Integrations is the platform owner and PMO lead for Aleph's SAP S/4HANA programme, responsible for cross-workstream coordination, change request governance, SAP BTP integration health, and system administration across Aleph's 38 legal entities in 25+ countries.
The role operates within a specialist squad that includes a SAP FICO Business Analyst/Solution Architect, a SAP SD Business Analyst/Solution Architect, an Integration Architect (owning the broader iPaaS, API, and n8n layer), and a Workday Business Analyst/Solution Architect. Each peer owns deep functional or technical expertise in their domain. This Manager role is not a module specialist — it is the connective layer: ensuring the platform roadmap is coherent, delivery across workstreams is coordinated, and the business always has a single point of accountability for SAP.
On the SAP integration side, the role owns the SAP BTP layer specifically — iFlows, certificate management, e-invoicing compliance, and the SAP-side configuration of connections to Salesforce, Workday, OneStream, and Dynamics 365. The Integration Architect owns the broader middleware and API governance layer; this role coordinates the handoff points and ensures SAP-side readiness for any cross-system integration.
The role reports to the Global IT Director — Finance & HR and succeeds the current SAP technical lead, with an expectation to build continuity, raise delivery governance, and position SAP as a strategic enabler of Aleph's growth.
What you'll do:
Own the SAP platform roadmap across all modules and workstreams, coordinating priorities with the FICO Architect, SD Architect, and business stakeholders (Finance, Tax, Revenue Recognition, Controlling, Operations).
Manage the end-to-end change request (CR) pipeline: intake, triage, cross-module dependency mapping, prioritization, and delivery tracking on the Jira SAP project board.
Serve as the primary point of contact for SAP across the business — translating executive and functional needs into platform decisions and sequenced delivery plans.
Facilitate release planning and go-live coordination across workstreams, ensuring UAT sign-off, cutover readiness, and stakeholder alignment.
Identify and drive quick-win automation opportunities (in coordination with the Integration Architect and n8n platform) that complement the core SAP build without requiring full CR cycles.
Own the SAP BTP layer: iFlow configuration and maintenance, certificate rotations, OAuth/mTLS administration, and incident response for all SAP-originated or SAP-destined integration flows.
Manage the SAP-side configuration of connections to Salesforce, Workday, OneStream, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 — coordinating with the Integration Architect on middleware design, API contracts, and cross-system data flow governance.
Oversee e-invoicing compliance across multiple countries (Poland KSeF, Romanian e-Factura, Belgian Peppol, and others), coordinating with local finance teams and external vendors.
Perform root-cause analysis on SAP integration incidents and lead resolution, engaging the FICO or SD Architect for module-level diagnosis and the Integration Architect for middleware-side issues as needed.
Administer the SAP platform: user roles, authorizations, transport management, and system configuration — escalating module-specific functional configuration to the relevant Architect.
Act as the primary commercial and delivery interface with external SAP vendors (currently Globant): SOW review, sprint planning, acceptance criteria definition, and escalation management.
Ensure every open CR has a named owner, module assignment (FICO/SD/cross-module), priority, and ETA; produce monthly SAP status updates for the IT Committee and Global IT Director.
Coordinate cross-workstream dependencies and sequencing — flagging transport conflicts, shared configuration objects, or delivery risks that span FICO, SD, or integration workstreams.
Contribute to IT cost visibility for SAP-related spend: licenses, BTP consumption, and consulting engagements.
Support audit, GDPR, and ISO 27001 compliance requirements related to the SAP platform.

SAP BTP & Integration Ownership
Vendor Governance & PMO
What we are looking for:
5+ years of experience in SAP programme management, platform ownership, or technical administration — with exposure to multiple SAP modules rather than deep specialisation in one.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate a multi-workstream SAP delivery programme across functional architects and business stakeholders.
Proven track record managing SAP BTP integrations, including iFlow configuration, certificate lifecycle, and incident response.
Experience working with and governing external SAP development vendors: SOW review, sprint facilitation, acceptance testing, and escalation.
Familiarity with adjacent enterprise systems (Salesforce, Workday, Dynamics 365, OneStream) at an integration-awareness level — understanding data flows and dependencies without needing to administer those systems.
Background in multi-country SAP e-invoicing compliance is strongly preferred.
Experience in fast-paced, multi-entity international environments is an advantage.
SAP S/4HANA platform administration: transport management, authorization management, release coordination — broad platform ownership rather than deep module configuration (FICO/SD owned by peer Architects).
SAP Integration Suite / BTP: iFlow configuration, certificate and mTLS administration, monitoring, and incident diagnosis.
Integration awareness: working knowledge of SAP-side configuration for connections to Salesforce, Workday, Dynamics 365, and OneStream; ability to coordinate handoff points with the Integration Architect without owning the middleware layer.
Google Cloud / BigQuery: ability to validate SAP data replicated to the data warehouse and support reporting requirements.
Jira and Confluence: proficient in CR tracking, cross-workstream programme documentation, and stakeholder reporting.
Languages: Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. SAP certification (e.g. SAP Certified Application Associate, SAP BTP Integration Suite) is preferred.
